Office Directions
From Sacramento, Hwy 80 east to
the Donner Pass Road Exit (Exit 184), proceed straight through
the stop sign, turn left on Deerfield Drive (parallel to Chevron
gas station),turn right on first driveway (before Taco Bell),
turn right into our parking lot (Sierra Sun building).
Deerfield Drive
does not go through from the Hwy 89 (by McDonalds), our office
is on the other end of Deerfield Drive
by the East end of Donner
Lake.
Arrival
The keys to your home will be available by
4:00 p.m.
Your keys, all applicable passes will be in the unlocked key
cabinet outside of our office doors. Envelopes will be marked
with your name only, NOT the home address. For security
purposes, a map will not be included with your keys; please
bring your map to the home when you arrive.
Accommodations Capacity
The number in your party should not exceed the maximum occupancy
as stated under each listing. Private functions/parties are not
allowed in rental accommodations without prior approval.
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations/changes are subject to a $185 cancellation
fee. Cancellations
must be made 21 days (non-holiday) or 45 days (holidays) prior
to arrival for a refund minus the cancellation fee.
Cancellations made after this date, a refund minus the
cancellation fee will only be issued if the home is re-rented
for the reserved period. There are no refunds for poor snow
conditions, severe weather, road closures, traffic delays, early
departures, illness or injury, mechanical breakdown, or
household appliance failure. By completing your reservation, you
authorize Tahoe Truckee Rentals & Maintenance to withhold from
your check or charge your credit card for the cancellation
fee/rent if the reservation is cancelled or rescheduled.
Deposits and Payments: Credit Card / Check Policy
Upon booking $185 is due and the balance is due either 21 or
45 days prior to your reservation.
Included in the charge
is a $35 booking fee and a non-refundable $50 damage waiver
which will relieve you of costs for all unintentional and
incidental damage to the property and its contents. The damage
waiver does NOT cover intentional or excessive damage, excessive
cleaning or damage or payment of charges for unauthorized pets
or smoking within a home. By agreeing to the rental policies,
you authorize Tahoe Truckee Rentals & Maintenance to require
payment for all charges associated with your reservation and for
any excess cleaning or damage to the property as a result of
your or your guests' actions during your stay.
Driving Conditions
Due to quickly changing weather conditions, travel delays and
temporary road closures are common. When traveling in the
mountains, please be prepared for winter driving conditions.
Always carry chains and emergency gear, and be prepared for
delays. The local road report number is 800-427-7623.
Items Left Behind
Tahoe Truckee Rentals & Maintenance is not responsible for
personal items left behind. We do understand this may happen and
can ship your items to you for a $45 service charge plus
shipping costs.
Keys / Passes / Garage Openers / Parking Passes
The charge for lost items is $45.00 for each amenity pass,
$25.00 per key, and $50.00 for a garage door opener and $55.00
for any Tahoe Donner Ski Hill parking passes not returned.
Linens
When making a reservation with Tahoe Truckee Rentals &
Maintenance you must bring your own linens and towels. Linens
include sheets, pillowcases and bath towels.
Maintenance / Emergency
We make every effort to keep each home and its equipment in good
working order and are happy to provide these services during
your stay. To report a maintenance concern, please call
530-448-8124. If it
is after business hours and not a true rental emergency, please
leave a message and we will respond asap.
After hours calls which are not a true rental emergency
may be subject to a minimum service charge of $90.
If you are unclear of what constitutes a True Rental
emergency, please contact us prior to arrival. If you have a
true rental emergency, please call 530-448-8124 and you will be
directed to an after hours emergency number.
Due to limited phone coverage, If there is no answer,
please leave a message and someone will get back to you asap.
We cannot issue refunds due to mechanical failures of
a spa, TV, VCR, washer, dryer, or other appliance.
No Smoking
All rental homes are non-smoking. If evidence of smoking is
found with-in the home, there is a $100 additional cleaning fee.
No Pets
No pets are allowed in
homes unless they are designated pet friendly. Evidence of a pet
in the home will result in a $100 additional cleaning fee plus
the cost of carpet and furniture cleaning.
If the property is designated pet friendly, You MUST
clean up after your pet. That includes properly disposing of all
waste material. If any waste material is found on the
property or additional cleaning is required, you agree to pay
any charges required to remedy the damage. You must also
maintain control of your pet at all times, and
NEVER leave a dog unattended. If you are
leaving for the day and don't want to take the dog with you, you
must put it in a place in the home that will prevent any damage
from occurring (e.g. garage) or find alternative solutions to
leaving the dog alone at our property. You must clean the home
to the same level it was when you arrived; meaning pet hairs
should not be visible. Any complaints from neighbors regarding
excessive noise or other nuisances may be cause for immediate
termination of the lease and forfeiture of the tenant's entire
security deposit.
Parking
Parking is not allowed on any roadway between November 1 - May
15. Cars parked on the road during these months may be ticketed
and/or towed
Spa / Hot Tub Agreement (if home has a
Spa / Hot Tub)
By completing this reservation for any rental home with a spa /
hot tub, you agree to the following:
I understand that the house I have rented has a spa and/or hot
tub. I understand that any use of the spa and/or hot tub by me,
my guests or others renting this home is at our own risk.
Furthermore, I understand that by completing this reservation,
I/we have agreed to release Tahoe Truckee Rentals & Maintenance,
its Owner or Owners, its Agents and Assigns, the property owner
and their respective Agents and Assigns from all claims, loss,
damage or causes of action arising out of, or related to, the
use of the spa and/or hot tub at the premises either by the
guest / renter(s) or the guest / renter (s) guests during the
term of this rental.
Guest / Renter (s) further agrees to hold harmless and
defend the Owner or Owners of Tahoe Truckee Rentals &
Maintenance, its Agents and Assigns, the property owner and its
Agents and Assigns from any and all claims, losses, damages or
cause of action arising out of, or related to, the use of the
spa and/or hot tub during the rental term.
Tahoe Donner Ski Bowl Condominium
Association Rules and Regulations:
If you
are renting a condo located at the Tahoe Donner ski hill please
review these rules.
PARKING
RIGHTS: Each Unit is entitled
to one open parking space on the asphalt. There shall be no
parking in front of garages, fire hydrants, trash bins,
stairways, walkways, or in locations which may block or impeded
vehicular or foot traffic. Except for parking in garages, there
shall be no parking in areas other than on asphalt, such as
without limitation, on dirt areas, under trees, or in areas not
designated by lines painted for parking. Parking spaces are
painted. Parking on asphalt shall be within marked spaces,
without straddling or occupying more than one space. Any
vehicles parked in violation of the rules will be subject to
being towed at Guests expense.
Permit parking is enforced December through April for
this season. Each unit will be allocated one garage parking pass
and one outside parking pass. The parking passes' are designed
to hang from the rear view mirror. Please be sure to place it
there, the staff will only look in one area of your vehicle for
a pass. Garage parking passes are to be used for garage parking
only. Each unit should have adequate space in the garage for one
vehicle. Again, a garage pass does not allow parking in an
outside parking space. Towing will be enforced without a
courtesy notice to owners or guests. To retrieve a towed
vehicle, please call the numbers posted throughout the complex.
The Association Office will not be able to return your vehicle
once it has been towed. If lost or forgotten, a replacement pass
will be made available for $55.00 per pass. The replacement pass
will void the preceding one. Vehicles parked with a replaced
(voided) pass will be towed.
VEHICLES: No
mobile homes, campers, trailers, truck campers, or boats shall
be kept on the project. No stripped down, wrecked or junk motor
vehicle shall be kept, parked, stored or maintained within the
project. Any vehicle parked for three days or more without being
moved shall be considered as stored and may be towed at Owner’s
expense. No commercial vehicle bearing commercial insignias or
names shall be parked within the project except within a garage,
unless such vehicle is temporarily parked for the purpose of
providing service within the Project. A maximum of 15 miles per
hour shall be observed within the property. During the ski
season when TDA’s ski facilities are in operation, all vehicles
parked within the Project Condominium area must display a
clearly visible parking pass issued by the Association.
Otherwise, such vehicles shall be subject to towing.
NOXIOUS
OR OFFENSIVE
ACTIVITY:
No noxious or offensive
activity (i.e. no excessive noise, stereo, TV, parties, etc.)
shall take place that causes unreasonable disturbances or
annoyances or that shall interfere with the quiet enjoyment of
the other residents within the Project. Guests shall not allow
noxious or offensive odors to be emitted from their Units, which
would disturb other residents in the Project. Any charges for
repair of vandalism caused by any person will be billed to the
Guest where the person causing the damage lives or is visiting.
USE
OF BARBECUES:
Due to the common presence of high winds, dry grass, wooden
decks, and the inherent danger of fires, there shall be no
exterior fires, including use of individual barbecues other than
gas or propane barbecues of a reasonable size and with
reasonable use and care to avoid flaming or overheating.
Community barbecue facilities shall be available for use during
the summer months.
CLOTHESLINES:
No clotheslines or clothes drying shall be allowed which is
visible from outside the Unit.
UNLAWFUL
ACTIVITIES:
No activity will be conducted upon any property within the
Project in violation of any law.
FIREARMS/FIREWORKS: No hunting or discharging of firearms or
fireworks within the Project is allowed.
GARBAGE,
RUBBISH
AND TRASH:
All garbage shall be placed in dumpsters located at convenient
sites on the Project. Fireplace ashes must be cold to the touch
prior to disposal in a dumpster. Any debris left over from
firewood processing, stacking, or transporting will be the
responsibility of the Guest. Dumpster lid must be closed and
secured with the locking chain after placing trash in it.
POOL
AND SPA: No one under 18 years of age is allowed in the
sauna and Jacuzzi area of the
Spa
Building
after 8:45 p.m.
No children under age 14 are permitted in the
Spa
Building
or pool area without an adult in attendance at all times. No
glass or glass containers of any type are permitted in the pool
or spa area. No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the
Spa
Building
or around the pool except on special occasions such as during
social gatherings in conjunction with the annual meeting or
other events planned by the Association. No food or drink is
allowed in the sauna or Jacuzzi area. Showers are required prior
to entering the pool and spa. There shall be no shaving, bathing
or washing of persons, animals or things in the pool, spa or
Jacuzzi. Only bathing suits are to be worn. Any form of street
clothes or undergarments are prohibited in both the pool and spa.
FEEDING OF WILD ANIMALS: Under no circumstance shall any
Guest provide food or drink to wild animals. The feeding of wild
animals, such as, but not limited to, bears, raccoons, skunks,
squirrels, and the like, encourages them to forage in areas
inhabited by humans. Encounters by humans and wild animals can
be dangerous to humans and wild animals. In the event that
humans or their pets are hurt,
animal control authorities oftentimes will hunt and destroy the
wild animal in question. Anyone found to be in violation of this
clause shall assume fiscal responsibility for all remedial
measures necessary to address the problem caused by feeding the
wild animals. USE OF
FIREPLACE:
Pressed logs in the fireplace such as Dura Flame may not be
used. SLEDDING, ETC. PROHIBITED:
No sledding, saucering, tobogganing, or use of snowmobiles,
ATVs, snow boarding or skiing is permitted within the project.
Tahoe Donner
Recreation Facilities
Each home located in Tahoe
Donner
comes with two amenity access cards that will allow a maximum of
eight individuals access to Trout Creek Recreation center,
Tennis Center, Northwoods Pool, and the Marina, by paying
a guest fee. The cards will be placed with your keys. Cards not
returned, lost, or stolen, are subject to a $45 replacement fee.

Telephone
Long distance calls from rental accommodations phones must be
made collect or by credit/calling card. Any long distance (toll)
calls not put on a credit card will be charged to your card as
authorized in the Section "Deposits and Payments" and are
subject to a $10.00 service charge.
Trash
Trash enclosures are provided at most rental homes. The small
house like enclosure at the side of the driveway is for the
trash receptacles. Do not leave trash bags in the house or
garage.
Upon Departure
Check-out is at
11:00 a.m.
Leaving the home in an orderly condition, free of damages, will
ensure a full deposit refund. A partial checklist is provided
for your convenience:
____ Lock all windows and doors
____ Turn off all lights
____ Set heat at 55 degrees
____ Place trash in receptacles
____ Wash and put away all dishes
____ Return furniture to its original location
____ Strip beds
____ Remove all food items
____ Double check for all personal items
____ Return keys and all passes to key box drop at office
Your Home
The rental home you are staying in is a privately owned home and
has been made available for rental through the courtesy of the
owner. Although we will do our best to fill your needs, neither
Tahoe Truckee Rentals & Maintenance nor the homeowner will be
responsible for providing furnishings or appliances not
currently in the home.
All rental homes are equipped with cookware, cooking utensils,
dishes, flatware, washer/dryer, TV, cable, blankets, pillows,
and firewood. We suggest you bring paper products, trash bags,
and kindling.
Please do not move items from one home to the next.
Skis and equipment can cause considerable damage to the
interior of a home, your assistance in reducing unnecessary wear
and tear will be most appreciated and will ensure full return on
your deposit.
Woodstoves /
Fireplaces
Firewood will be supplied for your vacation. We recommend
purchasing fire starters or kindling as well. Please keep the
doors to wood burning stoves closed at all times. Do not chop
wood on the hearth, and only place ashes in the metal ash
bucket.
All prices, fees,
specifications, configurations and availability are subject to
